SOLAN: The grand beauty pageant ‘Miss Queen of Himalaya 2026’, organized by Green Hills Engineering College, concluded with great pomp and show. Out of 30 shortlisted contestants from all over Himachal Pradesh, Varnika Chauhan clinched the coveted title. Ritambhara Sharma was declared the 1st runner-up, while Ruchika secured the 2nd runner-up position.<\/p>\n

Four Rounds of Intense Competition
\nThe pageant tested the contestants’ grace, intellect, and talent across four distinct rounds:
\nIntroduction Round: The models set the stage alight by introducing themselves to the audience and judges.<\/p>\n

Talent Round: Contestants showcased an array of spectacular performances, leaving the audience spellbound.
\nTraditional Round: Celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh, the models walked the ramp gracefully draped in traditional Kulluvi sarees and Pahari topis.
\nWestern Round: Based on their performance in this round, the top 7 finalists advanced to the decisive Quiz Round, which determined the final winners.
\nDignitaries and Star-Studded Panel
\nThe event was graced by an esteemed panel of judges and high-profile guests:
\nThe Jury: Dr. Naresh Kumar Kaundal (Director, Himalayan Got Talent), Shreya Thakur (Miss India Top 8 Finalist), and Ravitanya Sharma (Miss Universe Finalist) served as the judges for the evening.
\nGuest Appearance: Renowned Himachali singer Sunil Mastie attended as a special guest. His soulful and energetic musical performance kept the audience captivated and swaying to his tunes.
\nChief Guests: The Chairman of Green Hills Engineering College, Mr. Kripal Singh Pasricha, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Other prominent dignitaries included Director Rakesh Kumar, Raminder Bawa, Rohit Sablok, Inder Pal Singh Pasricha, Mr. Jaspal Singh Pasricha, and Mr. Nagin Bansal.

\nA dedicated crew worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the show’s grand success:
\nCoordination & Choreography: Professional model Miss Natasha Chauhan served as the show coordinator, while Anamika Singh choreographed the event. The evening was hosted by a popular celebrity anchor.
\nGrooming Experts: Khushi, Shweta, Akanksha Daulta, and Savu Verma played a vital role in grooming and preparing the contestants.
\nDesign & Make-up: Fashion designer Miss Ashu Arora and makeup artists Miss Vandana Bhardwaj and Suraj Bhardwaj beautifully crafted the stunning looks of the participants.
\nSpecial Contribution by College Management
\nFrom the college administration, Ms. Sulochana Thakur (Tech Fest and Miss Queen of Himalaya Co-coordinator) successfully handled the execution of the show, while Miss Neha Chauhan (Show In-charge) contributed significantly to its planning and design. They were ably supported by Natasha Chauhan, Anamika, Balbir, Baljinder Singh, Karuna, and Anita.
\nAdditionally, Baljinder Singh, Balbir Singh, and Dr. Abhay acted as college coordinators, while the cultural committee members\u2014Karuna Sharma, Anita, Rajiv, Manisha, Sumit, Lakhwinder, Lakshmi, and Sunaina\u2014extended their full cooperation.
